Zinedine Zidane quits Real Madrid in an unplanned Press Conference surprising us all, he thinks that it is time for him to go despite being the legend that he is in both of his roles as a player and as a manager.

The announcement happened five days after the celebration of three consecutive Champions League titles,

He announced: “I have taken the decision to not continue into the next season. For me and for everybody, I think the moment to change has arrived. It was not an easy decision. This is my decision,” he continued, “Maybe it’s a mistake. But I feel it’s time. If I don’t think that we can keep winning then it’s time. How can I ask more from the players? Big players need a change.”

Real had finished third, 17 points behind Barcelona as it has lost the domestic cup’s quarter-finals to Leganés.
