To All The Art Fans Out There, NYU Abu Dhabi Is Launching Its First Digital Archive!
Since we’ve been staying at home for quite a long time now, many art lovers have surely missed visiting art galleries and enjoying different installations and artists’ work.
Tomorrow, The New York University Abu Dhabi (NYUAD) Art Gallery will be launching its first digital archive, starting with “TRACE: Archives and Reunions”. As the name suggests, TRACE is a series of ten events and archive releases that will offer viewers to virtually explore NYUAD Art Gallery’s past exhibitions.
“As 2020 marks 10 years since NYUAD welcomed its first incoming class, this is the time to do so,” said Maya Allison, Executive Director of The NYUAD Art Gallery and the University’s Chief Curator.
The first archive will feature installations from ‘Speculative Landscapes’, by UAE-based artists, Areej Kaoud, Ayman Zedani, Jumairy, and Raja’a Khalid. Register and join the digital conversation with the four artists to learn more about this archive, what they’re currently working on, as well as their future projects.
