VIDEO: Air Cairo Passengers Almost Suffocate During Delayed Takeoff
Another day, another moment gone bad and caught on social media. Egypt’s low-fare airline, Air Cairo, is this week’s latest Facebook victim. A video has gone viral of passengers fighting with the air crew inside a plane.
The flight was supposedly scheduled to take off at 1 PM from Kuwait to Burj El Arab airport. The passengers started boarding at 12:15 PM, but the flight was delayed until 2 PM.
Flights and unexpected emergencies are nothing new, but the main issue was the aeration. Apparently, the flight was facing some technical errors, in addition to tolerating an enclosed area with no air condition. The post claims that three passengers lost consciousness, and the crew only took action after an Italian woman threatened to contact the Italian Embassy.
