Breaking Ground: First Cheval Collection Ventures into Riyadh with Luxury Apartments
Cheval Collection is launching a new project: luxury serviced apartments in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The project will cost $80 million and construction will start this year, aiming for completion by 2027.
Cheval Ladun Living is Cheval Collection’s initial spot in Saudi Arabia (and third in the Middle East), formed with Ladun Investment Company.
John Philipson, Cheval Collection’s COO, highlighted at the Arabian Travel Market the significance of Saudi Arabia for the company’s continued expansion in the Middle East.
He expressed delight in adding Cheval Ladun Living to the company’s global portfolio and contributing to Saudi Arabia’s growing hospitality sector. He affirmed that the construction will commence this year, with plans for the property to be operational by 2027.
The luxury apartments at Cheval Ladun Living will be situated on King Fahd Road, near Riyadh’s King Abdullah Financial Centre. There will be 130 apartments ranging from one to three bedrooms. The property will also include various fitness and leisure facilities, such as a gym, swimming pool, and sauna.
Cheval Collection’s first property in the Middle East, Cheval Maison – The Palm, recently celebrated its successful first year of operation. Additionally, their 150-apartment luxury complex at Dubai’s Expo City, originally the Leadership Pavilion at EXPO 2020, is currently being renovated for its opening next year.
