His martyrdom is a grim testament to the escalating situation in Gaza that doesn’t differentiate between soldiers and civilians. Al Sawaf’s tragic death underscored the perils journalists face in conflict zones, it adds to the blood on the hands of the Zionist regime.
Two weeks ago on Instagram, Al Sawaf shared a picture of him with a swollen injured eye saying that his parents and two siblings were killed after their house was bombarded, while he couldn’t get treatment for his eye due to the collapse of the medical facilities, yet he ended the quote with “We shall resume with the coverage despite everything.”
