The one country that does not accept any form of opposition is the UAE and with good reason if you see the demise the Arab Spring has left in its path of destruction, you wouldn’t want any of that happening under your own roof.

Ninety four people have been held in the United Arab Emirates, with charges of trying to seize power from the existing government. WAM the UAE’s new agency reported that those arrested tried to “launch, establish and run an organization seeking to oppose the basic principles of the UAE and to seize power.”

In a nutshell the Muslim Brotherhood tried to infiltrate the UAE, and they would have none of that. “The organization announced its declared principles and called on society to observe the the teachings and virtues of Islam, while their undeclared aims was to overthrow the government.”

Like everywhere else in the Middle East, the suspects were accused of using social media to turn public opinion against the current leadership, they also held secret meetings in their houses, farms and other hidden places, in attempts to hide from the authorities.

They have also been accused of communicating with foreign organizations such as the Muslim Brotherhood, to give them funding and expertise on how to seek power.
