After paying a visit on a Sunday morning to the Dubai Land Department and finding empty desks, a video of H.H Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al-Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, has gone viral saying that he ordered to get rid of managers’ office doors.

In a video posted on Twitter, His Highness was seen arriving at an empty office on a working day in UAE, wandering past hibernating iMacs and empty chairs. He left furious and forced nine government staff members into retirement who failed to show up to work.

Mona Al Marri, director general of the Dubai Media Office, said: “He [Sheikh Mohammed] certainly wanted to send a message. Timeliness starts at the top and we won’t go after the employees when their bosses aren’t there.”

Just yesterday, another video of His Highness went viral of him showing how important it is to get rid of any barriers between the managers and employees. He then ordered to remove all office doors even if they are glass ones.

Sheikh Mohammed’s orders came as part of his keenness to provide opportunity to the new generation of young leaders to assume development responsibility during the next phase, in line with Dubai Government’s basic standards for provision of top quality services to the public.

WE SAID THIS: God bless you, Sheikh Mohammed. We love you.
