Meet Hania Sedky, the Egyptian Designer Sketching Her Way Around the World
Hania Sedky is an Egyptian designer and travel enthusiast who decided to document her adventures by sketching. Unlike everyone else, instead of snapping and sharing pictures of what she’s seeing on social media, she decided to put her phone down and bring out her sketchbook. Since the age of 15, Hania was very passionate about drawing, and now she has turned into this talented young lady who brings life to every sketch she draws.
According to Safareya, Hania prefers to sketch when she’s at the place itself; she believes that the place, the weather, the fragrances, names of buildings and the people with their stories, anything that she finds unique about the place have to be brought into the sketch so that when you see the sketch, you’d be able to have a feel of the place too.
