Poised to become one of the world’s largest art installations, Dubai’s upcoming cultural landmark, CLIO Desert Park, will feature 10km of immersive artwork stretching across the sand leading to a spaceship-shaped cultural hub in Dubai’s Margham Desert. The project was unveiled at Dubai Harbour Yacht Club and attended by global sports legends including Roberto Baggio, Fabio Cannavaro, Francesco Totti, and David Trezeguet.

The two-level hub and its connected installations were designed by contemporary artist Agron Hoti in collaboration with architect Matteo Antonelli. “The building will include a library, cafe and restaurant, creating a quiet place to sit, read, talk or rest. It’s important to feel peace when you are facing something as powerful as the desert,” Antonelli reveals.

Set to officially open in March 2027, the project will create over 300 job opportunities. At its heart, it is a dynamic hub for exhibitions, performances, and cultural gatherings. The development further cements Dubai’s status as a global destination for large-scale, innovative projects and is expected to attract around 4.8 million visitors.
