Last Thursday, Egypt’s Library of Alexandria announced the return of its critically-acclaimed “Agenda” exhibition in its 14th edition. According to Exhibition Director Gamal Hosny, the much-awaited art event will take place between June 24th and July 10th, and will host artworks of 187 artists from all over Egypt.

The exhibition will put on display visual creations from different fields of art including photography, sculpture, ceramics, painting, mosaic, engraving, video art, and printing.

The event can be found at Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s eastern and western exhibition halls of the library’s conference center. Unfortunately, due to the current COVID-19 pandemic and its restrictions, the exhibition hall will be operating at a 50% capacity at any given time, to ensure the safety and well-being of all attendees.

The beauty of the ‘Agenda’ exhibition is that ever since it was first inaugurated in 2008, it succeeded in gathering visual creators and artists of different schools, backgrounds, and experiences, to interact and share their work and artistic visions.

Artists taking part in this year’s edition will display their artwork, provided that the works have not previously been shown in any exhibition at the Bibliotheca Alexandrina.
