. A man in Utah has undergone a procedure to get magnets implanted in his ears which can be used to connect directly to music players and serve as earphones. He described the procedure as ‘self-augmentation and enhancement’ and hopes to hook up the magnets to an ultrasonic rangefinder to give himself bat-like hearing.
