It almost seems like a rarity to find a person who can step up and recognize a person’s worth these days, but those people do exist. And while the stereotype of the typical Arab man lives on, it’s a stereotype nonetheless, and the good ones do exist. Maybe it’s too drastic to say there’s a mass quantity of them, but they definitely exist.

When one comes across this man, an Arab that respects them, it almost causes a sense of shock for some who have had their fair share of experiences with a variety of them. He’s not a rarity, and he might not be always be a respectable Arab guy, but in a moment or throughout your acquaintance, he respected you. Whether it was keeping distance, taking your feelings into consideration or listening to your point of view that he starkly disagrees with; understanding is the greatest forms of respect. For that we are grateful for your sense of morale and responsibility to be a better human and disprove the stereotype.

A man that can respect a woman based on his upbringing or purely on his personality is not only a respectable man but a man that should be mirrored and exemplified as the standard for all men. It is not often we find that people go out of their way to be polite or nice without a purpose, especially to do it out of respect.

WE SAID THIS:  We applaud you, respectable Arab men.
