Temraza Receives ‘Best Female Couture Designer’ at New York Fashion Week

Last week, Egyptian designer Farida Temraz was merely a Best Female Couture Designer nominee, today she is a winner. Yup, you just read that right.

The award was given to Temraza as a tracking record of the designer’s hard work, red carpet appearances and overall achievement. “I still can’t believe it. I feel overwhelmed, I feel proud, but most importantly, I’m happy to get Egypt back on the fashion map,” Temraz tells us.

The Egyptian designer told us that she made one of NYFW’s producers to carry the Egyptian flag. “Nina Vargas, President of LA Fashion Magazine and NYFW’s host, gave a speech on Temraza and I almost cried.” We here at Scoop Empire could not be more proud of Farida Temraz, and we cannot wait to see what more will she bring on the table.
