Lebanese-Italian Tony Ward’s SS24 Collection Takes Paris Haute Couture Week By Storm

Taking fashion and turning it completely on its head is Lebanese-Italian Fashion Designer Tony Ward, who’s known as “The Architect Of Detail,” as he always draws inspiration from contemporary architecture in his work.

Presenting his work during the Paris Haute Couture Week in the prestigious Palais de Tokyo, Ward turned heads with his Spring Summer 2024 Collection.

Strutting the runway, models were decked out in pieces that boasted the Golden ratio, with each piece unified by the same equation. Beyond the ratio, each piece looks as though it was hand-sculpted by an Italian artist, boasting curves, pleats, and unconventional shapes.

He truly knows how to re-create modern architecture into his fashion pieces. To truly appreciate his work, these are some of our favorite looks:

Stepping into an intergalactic realm is his shimmering silver dress with pleated curves that majorly contrast with his hot pink looping dress.

Black was one of the colors that stood out during his show, but what made his looks special was how he interwove architectural elements onto his dresses, giving them a new-found multi-dimensionality.

Playing around with shape, many of his designs defy the norms of a typical dress, showcasing the potential of fashion to tell new stories.

That’s the beauty of Ward’s designs, exemplifying masterpieces in the field of fashion as well as the newfound possibilities of threading together innovative looks.
