Yasmina El Abd has quickly become one of the young stars to keep on your radar. From playing relatable teenagers navigating school and family life to taking on darker, more challenging roles, she has already built quite the diverse lineup. With several new projects on the way, here’s a look back at some of our favorite Yasmina El Abd roles and the upcoming ones we’re counting down to.
Finding Ola (2022 & 2024)
Yasmina made her mark in Finding Ola as Ola’s teenage daughter, Nadia. Her character is figuring out growing up, navigating life at school, and trying to find her place, all while dealing with the ups and downs of her relationship with her mother. Across the series, we got to see the more complicated side of their mother-daughter dynamic.

Midterm (2025)
In Midterm, Yasmina stepped into the world of university life as Tia. The series follows a group of students at an Egyptian university as they navigate friendships, relationships, academic pressure, and all the chaos that comes with this stage of life.

Lam Shamseya (2025)
Yasmina took on a much heavier role in Lam Shamseya, playing Wissam’s daughter. Her character’s world is turned upside down after it is revealed that her father sexually harassed his friend’s child, leading to his conviction. The series tackles the difficult aftermath and its impact on the family.

50/50 (2026)
Next up, Yasmina is taking on a completely different kind of character in 50/50. She plays a rebellious and fearless girl who finds herself caught up in the world of a gang. The series premieres on Yango Play on September 17, so this one is officially on our watchlist.

Wala Kan A’la El Baal (Coming Soon)
Yasmina is also making her first leading cinema appearance opposite Nour El Nabawy in Wala Kan A’la El Baal. The upcoming romantic comedy is set in Luxor, giving us a new side of the young actress to look forward to on the big screen.

El Amir (Coming Soon)
Yasmina is joining a star-studded cast for the upcoming action thriller El Amir. Starring Ahmed Ezz, the series also features Amina Khalil, Khaled El-Sawy, Samy El-Sheikh, Pedro Alonso, and more regional and international stars. The series is scheduled to premiere on MBC Shahid in 2027.

Mamsoos (Coming Soon)
And because apparently Yasmina isn’t sticking to just one genre, she’s also entering horror with Mamsoos. The upcoming film stars Yasmina alongside Tara Abboud, Omar Rozik, Youssef Raafat, and Abdelrahman Mohamed, marking her first horror project.

From heartfelt family dramas to university stories, thrillers, romantic comedies, and even horror, Yasmina El Abd is already showing just how much range she has. And with 50/50, Wala Kan A’la El Baal, El Amir, and Mamsoos all adding something new to her lineup, it looks like this rising star is only getting started. Needless to say, we’ll be keeping her next moves on our radar.
