Professional success is usually measured in titles, responsibilities, and results. But there’s another way to measure it: by how many people around you grow, take on greater responsibilities, and eventually become leaders themselves.
That perspective has shaped much of Dr. Yomna Badr’s 18-year career across the pharmaceutical, cosmeceutical, and nutraceutical industries.
From Pharmacy to the Business World
Her journey began at Cairo University’s Faculty of Pharmacy, where she built the scientific foundation that would later take her into pharmaceutical sales, marketing, brand development, and executive leadership.
Over the years, she gained experience across several major organizations, including Fresenius Kabi, Danone, Pfizer, Bioderma, Infinity Clinic Pharma, and ECC Group.
Today, she brings that experience to her roles as Marketing Board Advisor at ECC Group and Marketing Director at Infinity Clinic Pharma, combining her scientific background with strategic marketing and commercial leadership.

Building Brands and Bringing Ideas to Life
Throughout her career, Dr. Yomna has played a role in launching, developing, and positioning brands across beauty, personal care, cosmeceuticals, and nutraceuticals.
Her work includes brands such as Infinity Naturals, Infinity Supplements, Infinity Spanish Labs, Source Beauty, MYVI, and Skinify, each requiring a different approach to understanding its audience, defining its identity, and finding its place in the market.
But while building brands became a major part of her career, she was equally invested in building the teams behind them.

Turning Teams Into Future Leaders
Beyond marketing strategies and business growth, Dr. Yomna has dedicated much of her career to developing people. She has built marketing teams from the ground up and mentored young professionals as they progressed into managerial and leadership positions.
Her approach centers on accountability, strategic ownership, and continuous learning, encouraging people to go beyond simply completing tasks and take an active role in shaping the bigger picture.
For her, leadership isn’t just about managing a team. It’s about creating an environment where people can develop the confidence and skills to eventually lead on their own.
Taking Career Development Beyond the Workplace
That commitment to people eventually grew into a venture of its own: Career Gossips, a career and leadership development platform she co-founded.
Since its launch, the platform has trained more than 5,000 professionals and collaborated with over 30 companies across the Middle East and Canada.
Its philosophy reflects a belief that has followed Dr. Yomna throughout her career: professional growth isn’t simply about earning the next title. It’s about developing the skills, confidence, and strategic thinking needed to take on greater responsibilities when the opportunity comes.

A Journey Built on Continuous Learning
Her own professional development reflects that same belief. Alongside her pharmacy degree, Dr. Yomna earned an MBA from the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport and became an ICF-certified Career and Executive Coach.
Each step added another dimension to her work. Science gave her a strong foundation, business expanded her perspective, marketing opened the door to brand and commercial leadership, and coaching deepened her focus on helping others grow.

Redefining What Success Looks Like
Eighteen years into her career, Dr. Yomna’s journey spans several chapters: from science to business, marketing to executive leadership, and brand building to people development.
What connects them all is a consistent focus on growth. For her, success has never been limited to business performance or the next promotion. It also means building teams that can think independently, supporting professionals as they evolve, and creating a culture where learning continues long after someone earns a new title.
Ultimately, that’s what places leadership at the heart of her story, with people at the heart of leadership.
