October tends to come with a lot of pink, but across the Middle East, some of that pink is making its way onto menus and into everyday moments for a reason.
From pink smoothies and donuts in Egypt to tiramisu in Saudi Arabia and éclairs in Qatar, cafés, restaurants, and hospitality spots across the region are marking Breast Cancer Awareness Month with special creations that give back. Each initiative is doing it a little differently, with proceeds going toward organizations supporting women affected by breast cancer.
Here are a few of the initiatives turning an October favourite into something more meaningful.
Feels x HWH Studio — Dubai, UAE
Part of the proceeds goes to Al Jalila Foundation
In Dubai, smoothie and juice bar Feels is teaming up with HWH Studio, a space dedicated to yoga, Pilates, and wellness retreats, for a Pinktober community takeover.
The idea brings movement and community together, inviting guests to join a wellness flow before staying for The Pink One, a pink smoothie created especially for the occasion. There’s also an “Every Note Matters” wall where visitors can leave their own messages, while guests are encouraged to show up in pink.
Most importantly, proceeds from the takeover will be donated to the Al Jalila Foundation, giving the collaboration a purpose that extends beyond the event itself.

Taiyaki — Egypt
Part of the proceeds goes to Baheya Foundation
Taiyaki is adding a touch of pink to its menu with the Pink Lulu, created as part of its Breast Cancer Awareness Month initiative.
A portion of the drink’s proceeds will go toward the Baheya Foundation, supporting its work with women undergoing cancer treatment.
It’s a small addition to the menu, but one that gives a familiar café stop a little more meaning this October.

Sharq Village & Spa, a Ritz-Carlton Hotel — Qatar
Part of the proceeds goes to Qatar Cancer Society
At Sharq Village & Spa, Pink October is taking the form of a dessert.
The Al Jalsa Lounge is serving a specially made Pink Éclair throughout the awareness month, with a portion of its proceeds going to the Qatar Cancer Society.
It’s the kind of initiative that keeps the cause present in everyday moments, turning an afternoon coffee and dessert into a small contribution toward a larger one.

Duck Donuts — Egypt
25% of Proceeds go to Baheya Foundation
Duck Donuts Egypt is marking the month with its Baheya Box, a trio of pink donuts priced at EGP 127.
The box isn’t just a limited-edition treat: 25% of every box sold will be donated to the Baheya Foundation, supporting its work with women fighting cancer.
And with three donuts in the box, it’s designed to be shared — making the gesture feel less like a purchase and more like a little moment to pass on.

Maison D — Beirut, Lebanon
Part of the proceeds goes to the Lebanese Breast Cancer Foundation
In Beirut, Maison D is putting its own spin on Pink October with Rose d’Octobre, bringing the theme into its tart and teatime offerings.
Part of every Rose d’Octobre Tart & Teatime sale will contribute to the café’s donation to the Lebanese Breast Cancer Foundation.
Rather than limiting the initiative to a single product, Maison D is making the cause part of the broader teatime experience throughout October.

Norma — Saudi Arabia
50% of its proceeds go to Zahra Breast Cancer Association
At Saudi Arabian artisan tiramisu spot Norma, a familiar favourite is making its return for a reason.
The Rose Tiramisu is back for October, with 50% of its sales throughout the month going to the Zahra Breast Cancer Association.
The rose has long been tied to Pink October, but here, it’s more than a visual cue. Every serving contributes directly to the initiative’s fundraising efforts.

A Little Pink, A Lot of Purpose
Across the region, these initiatives are proving that supporting a cause doesn’t always have to mean making a grand gesture. Sometimes, it can look like ordering a smoothie, sharing a box of donuts, or sitting down for a slice of tiramisu.
This October, these spots are using something as simple as a menu special to raise awareness and channel support toward organizations helping women affected by breast cancer — one pink creation at a time.
