After keeping us hooked with its first two stories, El Kessa El Kamla is back with a brand-new mystery. The anthology series has dropped the trailer for its upcoming three-episode story, Gareema Fe El Zamalek, and if the trailer is anything to go by, we’re in for another round of secrets, twists, and plenty of questions.
Set to premiere on October 30, here’s everything to know before the new story begins.
Saba Mubarak Leads the Cast
The new story brings together a strong ensemble cast led by Egyptian actress Saba Mubarak, alongside Ahmed Bahaa, Mohamed Aly Rezk, Randa Kaady, and Hazem Ehab.
With a cast this packed, we’re already expecting every character to have something they’re not telling us.
Bringing Back the Forces Behind Ward Ala Fol W Yasmine
The three-episode series brings back the creative forces behind Ward Ala Fol W Yasmine, with Amr Samir Atif on writing duties, Mahmoud Abdel Tawab directing, and Saba Mubarak leading the cast. After the success the trio’s previous project gained, we can’t wait to see what they have in store for us this time around.
Behind the Story
Gareema Fe ElZamalek is written by Amr Samir Atif, directed by Mahmoud Abdel Tawab, and produced by Magdy El Hawary.
With the team behind the camera bringing together some familiar names in Egyptian drama, the three-episode format should make for a fast-paced mystery that gets straight to the point.
A Mysterious Crime Takes Center Stage
Gareema Fe El Zamalek revolves around a mysterious crime that takes place in Cairo’s Zamalek neighborhood. From there, the story follows the search for the truth behind what happened, as investigators begin uncovering the people connected to the case.
But, naturally, things aren’t as straightforward as they seem. As the investigation moves forward, more secrets and hidden details come to light, leading to a series of unexpected twists and revelations.
It’s a Completely New Story
Unlike the previous stories, Gareema Fe El Zamalek is a completely new case and has not been previously told by Sameh Sanad. It also continues El Kessa El Kamla’s format of presenting standalone stories, with each one bringing a different case, set of characters, and storyline to the screen.
With a mysterious crime, a new set of characters, and the team behind Ward Ala Fol W Yasmine back together, Gareema Fel Zamalek already has us curious. The new three-episode story premieres October 30, so now all that’s left is to watch the mystery unfold.
