Kinda Alloush is making her return to the small screen soon with her new series 50/50, and we’re already excited to see what she brings to the role. Until then, here’s a look back at some of our favorite TV characters she has brought to life over the years.
Nahed — Ekhwaty (2025)
In Ekhwaty, Kinda plays Nahed, one of four sisters whose lives are turned upside down after the husband of one of them is killed. As the sisters navigate grief, family tensions, and everything that comes with the aftermath, Kinda brings her character to life with plenty of emotional depth.
Mariam — Sittat Bayt Al Maadi (2021)
This comedy series follows three women living in the exact same house, but across three different decades: the 1960s, 1980s, and 2020s. Kinda plays Mariam, a woman living in the 1960s, giving us a fun glimpse into love, marriage, and everyday life in a very different era.
Zeina — Hagar Gohanam (2017)
Kinda took on the role of Zeina in this gripping Egyptian drama, alongside Arwa Gouda and Shereen Reda. The three women team up to kill their husbands, but things quickly spiral when one of the husbands survives and comes back looking for revenge. Needless to say, things get messy fast.
Fotna — Afrah El-Qobba (2016)
Based on legendary Egyptian novelist Naguib Mahfouz’s novel, Afrah El-Qobba takes us behind the scenes of a theater troupe in the 1970s. Kinda plays Fotna, a backstage worker whose life becomes entangled with the drama unfolding within the troupe.
Nehal — Niran Sadeeka (2013)
Spanning 20 years, Niran Sadeeka follows six friends as their lives, relationships, and secrets evolve against the backdrop of a changing Egypt. Kinda plays Nehal, a fierce and complex mother caught in a dark web of secrets and complicated relationships.
Dalia — Ahl Cairo (2010)
The series kicks off with the mysterious murder of Safi, a businesswoman who is killed just one day after her wedding. Detective Hassan Mahfouz is tasked with finding out who did it, while Kinda plays Dalia, a journalist who is also investigating the murder and digging deeper into the mystery.
Kinda Alloush has never been one to stick to just one type of character. From strong, complicated women and fierce mothers to comedic roles and characters caught in intense mysteries, she has taken on a wide range of personalities throughout her career. Each role has brought something different to the screen, proving just how effortlessly she can move between genres and make every character her own.
