As with last year, all the celebrities arrived looking dazzling in custom-made gowns by some of the finest designers in the world. These are the show-stopping fashion highlights of this year’s special edition:

The Traffic Stopping Red Dresses

Red was the color of the night, as some of the biggest names in the world of entertainment graced the lavender carpet in the iconic shade. One of the greatest stars of the Arab world, Egyptian Actress Mona Zaki, knew how to make an appearance as she strutted the carpet in a gorgeous strapless gown shimmering with intricate embroidery and embellishment.

Bringing his fashion prowess to the forefront, this year, one of his gowns got to be worn by Lebanese actress Carmen Bsaibes, who wore his elegant billowing red cape gown with feminine criss-cross pleating. With her being the host of the Joy Awards, Saab’s dress will be getting major exposure throughout the exciting event.

A Touch Of Sparkle & Shine

Besides the feisty red gowns taking over the event, celebrities also decided to bring some sparkle and shine to the event. Raya Abirached, the internationally acclaimed Lebanese TV presenter, whose name has become synonymous with Hollywood in the Arab, graced the event in a sequin-doused purple Valentino gown coupled with Bulgari jewelry.

Floor-Length Capes Galore

Along with Bsaibes, many other celebrities came in dressed in gowns with capes featured as a staple part of their ensemble. Exemplifying elegance at its finest was Lebanese actress Sara Abi Kanaan, who arrived in a black-to-white sheer ombre effect dress while draped in a massive white cape.

Showcasing another cape-dress ensemble was Nour in an Antoine Kareh white dress, which brought the same elegance of Kanaan in a simple white dress covered two-sided cape.

It Is All About The Shoulders

Probably two of the most unique and bold looks of the night are all about the shoulders. Egyptian actress Mai Omar came in with the ultimate ode to the timeless and simple accessory known as the bow. It was the literal centerpiece of her gorgeous white dress.
