There are runway debuts, and then there are Gucci runway debuts in the middle of Times Square. For Cruise 2027, Gucci transformed Manhattan’s most electric intersection into a full-scale fashion fantasy, complete with celebrity cameos, cinematic styling, and a models designed to break the internet. Among them was Sabine Getty, making her first official turn on the runway.
The Look
Getty embodied a distinctly Gucci kind of glamour: decadent, slightly undone, and unapologetically theatrical. She appeared in sharply tailored black trousers paired with a richly embellished top threaded with metallic detailing, layered beneath a sweeping fur-style stole that moved dramatically as she walked. The silhouette played with contrasts — masculine tailoring against high-octane embellishment — while stacked necklaces and gleaming accessories nodded to the maximalist spirit at the heart of the collection.
Her beauty look sealed the mood: tousled blonde waves, smoky eyes, and the kind of insouciance that can’t really be styled into existence.
Who Is Sabine Getty?
Born in Geneva and raised between Switzerland and Beirut, Getty is the daughter of Lebanese financier Charbel Ghanem and Egyptian interior decorator Karine Ratl. Though internationally connected, she has often spoken about her deep emotional connection to Lebanon, once saying, “My soul is Lebanese.”
Known first for her jewellery designs and couture presence, Getty has increasingly expanded into film and creative production. She is co-executive producer of The Voice of Hind Rajab. She’s also preparing to launch Innerwear, a new brand focused on elevated wardrobe essentials.

Gucci Cruise 2027: Times Square, But Make It Gucci
The Cruise 2027 presentation leaned fully into spectacle. Giant screens flickered above the runway and the line between fashion show and cultural event blurred in very intentional Gucci fashion. The runway saw everyone from Paris Hilton to Emily Ratajkowski and Candice Swanepoel, while the front row delivered its own dose of drama courtesy of Kim Kardashian, Mariah Carey, and Lindsay Lohan.
The result was less traditional runway, more pop-cultural fever dream — exactly the kind of setting where Sabine Getty’s couture instincts and old-world glamour felt entirely at ease.

Final Word
Sabine Getty’s runway debut felt surprisingly natural, which is perhaps the highest compliment. She didn’t disappear into the spectacle of GucciCore; she sharpened it. In a show built around personalities, performance, and fashion mythology, Getty brought something rarer: presence.
