This November, Cairo will host one of the world’s most prestigious royal galas for the very first time. The Grand Ball of Monte-Carlo – “Royalty on the Nile” will take place on November 8, 2025, inside the historic Abdeen Palace, bringing royal elegance and global glamour to Egypt’s heart.
“Royalty on the Nile” Brings Monaco’s Glamour to Cairo
Under the patronage of Prince Albert II of Monaco, the event will unite European royals, Hollywood stars, world-class artists, and international designers. Guests will experience an unforgettable night of opera, couture fashion, and royal dance, all under the glittering chandeliers of Abdeen Palace — once the home of Egypt’s kings, now an emblem of timeless grandeur.
Beyond its opulence, this ball carries purpose. It is part of the Global Hope Giver Campaign, supporting humanitarian causes that uplift children, women, and the arts.

From Monte-Carlo’s Palaces to the Banks of the Nile
Traditionally held in the world’s most exclusive venues — from Monaco’s Hôtel de Paris to Venice’s Cipriani and Dubai’s Burj Al Arab — the Grand Ball now makes its Egyptian debut. The move marks a historic moment, as “Royalty on the Nile” celebrates Egypt’s artistic and cultural legacy while welcoming the world’s elite.

Global Royals, Icons, and Artists Unite for Hope
The ceremony will feature participation from notable European royals, including Princess Béatrice de Bourbon and Prince Joachim Moyrha, alongside representatives of Monaco’s Princely Palace and high-level European officials.
Egyptian icon Safaa Abu Al-Saud, Artistic President of the Global Hope Donors Campaign, will perform a special musical segment at the closing ceremony at the Cairo Opera House, representing the voice of Egyptian art before the world.
Joining her are international stars such as Federico Martello, the Italian tenor known as “The Miracle Voice,” and Erika Bochenko, the James Bond film icon, linking global cinema to humanitarian artistry.

A Campaign Born from Courage and Humanity
The Grand Ball’s charitable mission traces back to the story of Anwar El Kamouny, Egypt’s world tennis champion who defeated cancer and returned to competition after a bone marrow transplant — a true symbol of resilience. His journey inspired the Global Hope Donors Campaign, and now, fittingly, that message of hope returns to its homeland.

A Night Where Elegance Meets Purpose
“Royalty on the Nile” will not only crown Cairo with elegance but also reaffirm Egypt’s place as a bridge between culture, art, and humanity. It’s more than a royal celebration — it’s a reminder that hope, beauty, and compassion can share the same ballroom.
