Tottenham Hotspur are reportedly making a move for Omar Marmoush, with the club in talks with Manchester City over a potential double deal that would also include Brazilian winger Savinho.
Talks between the two clubs are said to be progressing well, although no concrete transfer fees have emerged yet. For Spurs, a move for Marmoush would add another attacking option as they look to strengthen their squad ahead of the new season.
Marmoush could be on the move
The Egyptian forward has come a long way since making his breakthrough at Eintracht Frankfurt. His performances in Germany earned him a move to Manchester City in January 2025 for a reported €75 million.
Since arriving at the Etihad, however, Marmoush has largely been used as an impact substitute. Over the past year and a half, the 27-year-old has made 62 appearances for City, scoring 16 goals and providing six assists.
With his contract running until 2029, City are under no pressure to sell, but Tottenham’s interest could give Marmoush a chance to take on a bigger role elsewhere.

Spurs are going all in
Tottenham have been one of the more aggressive sides in the summer transfer window, bringing in six first-team players as they prepare for Roberto De Zerbi’s first full season in charge.
The club has already invested more than £200 million ($272 million) on additions including Sandro Tonali, Andy Robertson, Jan Paul van Hecke, Marcos Senesi and Mateus Fernandes.
Adding Marmoush and Savinho would give Spurs even more attacking options, with Marmoush’s pace, movement and versatility offering a different dimension to their frontline.

A big decision for Manchester City
Manchester City have also seen major changes to their squad, with Rodri joining Barcelona, Tijjani Reijnders moving to Al Qadsiah and goalkeeper James Trafford joining Leeds United.
With several key players already leaving, letting Marmoush and Savinho go would represent another significant change for City.
For Tottenham, meanwhile, the potential double deal could be a major statement of intent, with Marmoush as the headline addition for a Spurs side looking to build a new attacking identity.
