This Visual Artist Will Make You Abandon Everything in Your Life and Travel to Turkey
Watchtower of Turkey from Leonardo Dalessandri on Vimeo.
While skimming through different timelines on the same apps I usually use — Facebook, Instagram and Twitter obvi, I found one of the most beautiful videos there is. It instantly made me want to drop everything and travel to Turkey, like, right now. The video is directed and edited by Leonardo Dalessandri, an Italian artist who showcases the countries he visits in the most creative way ever.
Dalessandri traveled to Turkey for 20 days and compiled all the footage he took there in this one amazing masterpiece. He traveled over 3,500 kilometers, capturing landscapes from the bluish tones of Pamukkale to the warm ones of Cappadocia and much more.
He crossed Cappadocia, Pamukkale, Ephesus, Istanbul, Konya; and tasted baklava, kunefe, donner, the Turkish tea. Oh, and he also got the chance to meet the soul of Turkey, its people.

Stalking the work of Dalessandri, I also found a similar video he did. Only this time, it was Morroco. Guess what? It’s as beautiful as the Turkey video — possibly even more. His work is hands down the best footage I have ever seen for the streets of Marrakech, Essaouira, Fes el Bali and Casablanca.
