Palestinian-Chilean Musician Elyanna Makes An Appearance At The Billboard Women Music Awards

Palestinian-Chilean artist Elyanna attended the Billboard Women in Music Awards, honoring artists, creators, producers and executives for their contributions to the music industry. In a mermaid-style lilac gown, Elyanna posted on Instagram sharing her excitement for the event saying “Billboard, we are coming.”

The ceremony, which took place at the YouTube Theater in Los Angeles, honored several musicians who, through their work, have positively impacted the music industry.

The artists honored included Grammy-nominated singer-songwriter Lana Del Rey, who received the Visionary Award, SZA, who was named Woman of the Year, Becky G, who won the Impact Award, and Rosalía, who was named Producer of the Year.

Elyanna performed at the Coachella 2023 Music Festival back on April 14, 2022, becoming the first Palestinian singer to perform at such a renowned festival.

The Palestinian-Chilean musician has consistently expressed her wish to spread her music and Arabic lyrics across the world. She was able to accomplish that at Coachella, and she will undoubtedly seek to expand her career by introducing more global listeners to Arabic music.
