Mo Salah Levels Ian Rush’s Record By Scoring 20+ Goals For Six Consecutive Seasons

With Liverpool’s 2-0 win against Wolves on Wednesday, March 1, Mo Salah reached a new milestone that has only ever been achieved by Welsh and Liverpool former football player Ian Rush. Salah has now scored more than 20 goals for the sixth consecutive season becoming the second player in Liverpool’s history after Ian Rush to score over 20 goals in all competitions. His goal came as teammate Kostas Tsimikas drove the ball down the left flank in the 77th minute, giving Salah the opportunity to knee the ball into the back of the Wolves’ net.

Since his move to Anfield, the Egyptian King has made a habit of setting, matching and breaking records with incredible goals and assists during Premier League matches and European encounters. While Liverpool has been suffering a series of losses, Salah has been undeniably one of Liverpool’s most consistent players.

His ability to penetrate any team’s defense with his speed and talent makes him one of the most special players in Europe. Under Jurgen Klopp’s managerial leadership, Salah has always been a key player for Liverpool due to his ability to generate chances out of thin air and prolific goal-scoring skills.
