National Geographic’s Annual Photography Competition “Moments” Just Kicked Off and Here’s How You Can Participate

National Geographic Abu Dhabi (NGAD) announced the launch of the 8th edition of its annual photography competition “moments” which aims to inspire and help aspiring photographers around the Arab region.
‘Moments’ attracts over 19,000 entries from across the Middle East and North Africa, which makes it the biggest photography competition in the region.
The Grand Prize winner will have his/her photograph printed in the National Geographic magazine Arabic edition and earn a $10,000 10-day expedition Trip to Italy, where they will be mentored by National Geographic expert photographers, in addition to $10,000 photography equipment courtesy of Nikon.
This year’s theme is about “Stories Of People Of The Arab World” that’s meant to celebrate the richness and diversity of the Arab culture.
The theme will not only showcase the amazing talents but it is meant to provide a cultural exchange through the photographs in hopes for broader impact.
