Mohamed Salah just had a night to remember. The Egyptian forward scored a sensational hat-trick and provided an assist as Trabzonspor cruised to a 4–0 win over defending Süper Lig champions Galatasaray on Saturday, September 19.
The performance took Salah’s league tally to seven goals in six appearances, with two assists along the way. From a brace in his first league start to his latest hat-trick, here’s a look at every goal he has scored for Trabzonspor so far.
1. Two Goals Against İstanbul Başakşehir
Salah opened his Trabzonspor league account with a bang. Making his first league start for the club on August 23, he scored twice against İstanbul Başakşehir, finding the net in the 8th and 48th minutes to help Trabzonspor secure a 2–1 home win.
2. One Goal Against Amed SK
Just over a week later, Salah was on the scoresheet again. He scored in the 11th minute of Trabzonspor’s away game against Amedspor on August 31, although the team eventually fell to a 2–1 defeat.
3. One Goal Against Gençlerbirliği
Salah continued his scoring run against Gençlerbirliği on September 6. He found the net from the penalty spot in the 14th minute and also provided an assist in Trabzonspor’s dominant 5–0 win.
4. A Hat-Trick Against Galatasaray
Then came Salah’s biggest performance yet. Against defending champions Galatasaray, he opened the scoring in the 4th minute after racing behind the defense and calmly finishing one-on-one.
He doubled his tally in the 44th minute, finishing from inside the box to make it 3–0 before halftime. Salah then completed his hat-trick in the 80th minute, adding Trabzonspor’s fourth goal of the night.
And he wasn’t done there: Salah also assisted Noah Saviolo’s 39th-minute goal, meaning he was directly involved in all four of Trabzonspor’s goals in the 4–0 win.
With seven goals and two assists from his first six Süper Lig appearances, Salah has wasted little time making his mark in Turkey.
