Our all-time favorite Egyptian band, Cairokee, just released a tribute song to Author Dr. Ahmed Khaled Tawfik, who passed away on the 2nd of April, 2018. The lyrics of the song is based on Tawfik’s most known poem “Sharayeen Tageya”.

The masterpiece was composed by Sherif Al-Hawari, produced by Sari Hani, and shot by Motaaz Ibrahim.
The song is extremely unique and we haven’t really witnessed Cairokee attempting to create such tone in a while, or maybe ever! But we’d have to say … It’s marvelous!
Dr. Tawfik is an Egyptian author and a physician who wrote more than 200 paperbacks. He was the first contemporary writer of horror and science fiction in the Arab world, and also the first writer to explore the medical thriller genre.
