iPad Mini: Every inch an iPad

This one didn’t really come as a surprise to anyone (unless you’re normal and don’t follow tech news daily like the rest of the anticipating human beings walking the planet nowadays), Apple just announced the release of a smaller version of the legacy device the iPad, called iPad Mini.

And that is exactly what it promises. Everything the normal iPad does but on a smaller sized device.

Boasting a 7.9 inch display(35% larger than a regular 7-inch tablet), the iPad mini is 23% thinner, 53% lighter, and fits in one hand.  It has a single-cell battery — the thinnest ever made by Apple — taking up less space, but lasts just as long. The iSight camera is smaller, yet still takes 5-megapixel photos and shoots full 1080p HD video. It also comes with FaceTime HD and uses the latest apple connector, the lightning connector.

All the iPad apps work perfectly with the iPad Mini giving the same powerful usage to all of them (all 275,000 of them that is).

I must say the iPad has always been my star device from Apple, so making a smaller one is a great job on their part! I also believe it’ll will be huge with younger users as we all know it is a very child friendly device.

WE SAID THIS: Everything is getting smaller and more powerful, what happened to the days when your computer was a 4 piece hardware that was considered furniture? Long gone, and no one is complaining..
