Considering this is the first time Ramadan is held during such unprecedented circumstances, the way we celebrate will also probably differ. Unfortunately, several countries across the region have announced curfew timings for their people to follow to continue their efforts in containing the spread of the global pandemic.

In Egypt, the curfew was revised to start from 9 pm to 6 am, starting on the first day of Ramadan. In Tunisia, the curfew will begin at 8pm, and Iraq’s curfew will be in effect from 7 pm until 6 am. As for Lebanon, the timings will be from 8 pm to 5 am. In Jordan, residents will only be allowed to leave their houses between 10 am and 6 pm.

In the GCC, the UAE has announced that the curfew will now take place between 10 pm and 6 am, while in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, residents will be allowed to go out between 9 am and 5 pm. In Kuwait, the curfew timings will be 4 pm to 8 am.

Several countries are set to gradually start reopening shopping malls and offices, such as Egypt and the UAE.

WE SAID THIS: Enjoy Ramadan and stay home!
