Elie Saab Jr and Christina Mourad Tie the Knot in Breathtaking Wedding Bash
After being engaged for just over a year, Christina Mourad and the eldest son of couture legend Elie Saab, Elie Saab Jr., said their “I do’s” in the most breathtaking marriage ceremony. The celebration was hosted in different hotspots around Lebanon and lasted for three glamorous days. Endless dress changes from Elie Saab were witnessed. Over 1000 VIP guests included a list of celebrities and Lebanese prime minister, Saad Hariri.
The celebration started on July 18th with pre-wedding oriental themed cocktails in the town of Faqra. Wearing Elie Saab’s Fall-Winter 2019 collection, the bride-to-be danced the night away with her groom between dabke and belly dancers.
During the ceremony, the bride wore a cinderella-like sweetheart line custom dress. The much anticipated dress was tailored to every last possible perfection, taking 450 hours to make. Christina walked through ceremony in a tunnel of flowers, candles, and lush leaves. The sun romantically set on the couple as they said their vows in the Maronite church.
The wedding reception was filled with the couples’ closest friends and amazing live performances. Elissa, Bassam Fattouh, DJ Jamie Jomes, Karen Wazen, and Abu were some of the many attendees of the celebration. The event took Lebanese weddings to another lavish la la land level, finishing with magical fireworks to seal the night.
