Egypt’s Face of Kitesurfing: Karolina Winkowska

Marketing a country can be difficult, I mean how much can you really say about the sun and sea and remind people over and over that hey, we built the pyramids! So it only makes sense that we applaud Egypt’s new campaign promoting watersports in our beloved nation.

New destinations such as Ras Sudr are focusing on kite surfers traveling from all over to come and enjoy our beautiful waters and great wind. Areas such as El Gouna, Hurghada and Marsa Allam have been on this wave for a while, yet more and more competitions such as the latest PKRA Red Sea World Cup 2014 held in Soma Bay are taking place.

Egypt has taken the next step of sponsoring internationally acclaimed female kite surfer, Karolina Winkowska. The Polish native is a household name when it comes to the daring sport and will be sporting the Egypt-branded kite for the next while. Featured in their latest video, we couldn’t be more impressed.
