Eat Your Heart Out: 10 of the Most Romantic Restaurants in Cairo
Valentine’s Day is nearly upon us, and although some of you may not believe in it because you think the whole thing is annoying (you’re probably right) or that it’s a capitalisy holiday (you’re definitely right), its roots as a romantic holiday actually dates back to some nice guy from a long, long time ago called Geoffrey Chaucer, AKA the author of The Canterbury Tales and the father of English literature. He was truly, deeply into love and that kinda thing. If he was alive today, he would be the Nicholas Sparks of our generation.
Anyway, while we won’t even pretend to be capable of offering any lovey-dovey advice to save your relationship this Valentine’s Day, we’ve done something better! We’ve compiled a list of the most romantic restaurants in town where you and your special someone can wine and dine on Feb. 14. We’ve even provided you with all the restaurant’s telephone numbers so you can reserve now before it’s too late!
The Mermaid – Maadi
It’s Italian, small, cute and totes looks like somewhere out of a Nicholas Sparks movie where you can see yourself dining with Zac Efron. Yum! The restaurant’s choice of music is also very on point! ~do you believe in life after love~
