Paris being Paris, each season it has to host one extra Fashion Week ahead of all the others: the Haute Couture Week. Haute Couture is French for High Fashion and such weeks are meant to showcase the highest and fanciest form of sewing, dressmaking, and designing. For a brand to be aloud to be an “Haute Couture” house, it must follow a certain number of criteria including offering made-to-order private designs, having a workshop in Paris, presenting full collections each season etc.
