The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale Makes It to Dubai!

There is always something for everyone here in Dubai. Even for you book lovers, there’s a special place just for you! All the bibliotaphs and bookworms out there will be flocking in thousands in Dubai as the biggest book sale worldwide has kicked off last Thursday.
The Big Bad Wolf Book Sale is taking place at the at the Sound Stage Venue in Dubai Studio City and will be ongoing until the 28th of October. The event is held under the auspices of the Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum Knowledge Foundation (MBRF), the National Media Council (NMC), and Dubai Production City.
The sale is open 24 hours a day with almost three million books on display! Not just that, but most of them come with big discounts!
It’s worth mentioning that Dubai is the first Middle-Eastern city to host an event of this kind. The fair originated in Kuala Lumpur back in 2009 and has been touring Asia ever since. The special event took place in various Asian cities including Bangkok, Jakarta, Manila, Cebu, Taipei, and Colombo.
Andrew Yap, the Founder of the event, expects that the humongous number of books available would be very tempting for people. “In a mature market like Dubai, this will give variety to readers,” Yap told Reuters.
