The Adana Twins Rocked Our World

It says a lot about an event and its organizer when a large amount of its attendees are retired club kids! Those who have given up on Cairo’s clubbing scene a long time ago and have chosen to only go out only when they travel, or participate in small gathering as opposed to huge events. To get them to move trust us is a feat in and of itself.

Last Thursday Audio Damiana did exactly that, brought out Cairo’s party goers along side all those who have retired and remember Egypt in it’s Hay Day! Tamer Auf being the organizer behind the event and a retired Club Kid himself, knew exactly the formula to make everyone happy; tight guest list, small event, and most importantly the music!

By booking Germany’s Adana Twins alongside Egypt’s Baher Eid and minus T, he had the recipe for success. We for one are not deep house fans, we prefer it by a pool with a couple drinks, rather than all night long! But these guys just kept us dancing throughout the night.

Before you think this is us just talking them up, ask everyone who was there and the cue at the door! But we do have one comment we get the whole deep underground feel, but a little bit of extra lighting in the venue wouldn’t hurt, we couldn’t see 90% of the people who came up and talked to us. Made us look a little strange or old, you take your pick!
