Man’s Best Friend is Helping Children Read in The UAE and Here’s How!

A lot of us have issues when it comes to teaching our children how to read. They have a hard time because when they’re reading out loud they might feel judged, however, the UAE had the perfect solution for this dilemma and it was, to our surprise, dogs!

This reading session started with humans on the sofa and ended up with Lost taking our space! A new initiative in the UAE encourages children to read to man’s best friend, little pooches, and it seems like they are doing a very good job at it!

The initiative started in September 2017. The team consists of 14 puppies which have visited about 19 different schools and nurseries in the UAE, reading with over 2,000 children.

We're back @thejamjardubai! Willow the Golden Retriever and the Reading Dogs team are once again joining the jamjar to deliver an exciting workshop next month.
