Here’s What it Takes to be Eligible for the New 10-Years Visa in Dubai!
HH Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of UAE and Ruler of Dubai, announced at a cabinet meeting this week, that certain residents will be eligible for ten-year visas.
The 10-years visa will be available to scientists and innovators and specialists in the medical, scientific, research, and technical fields as well as their families. In a similar manner, students who study in the UAE are granted five-year residency visas, and it will be increased to ten years for “exceptional” students.
That’s not the only huge news that was announced at this meeting. Currently, all companies are required to have a local that owns 51% of their business (except in free zones). However, Sheikh Mo announced that international investors will be able to own 100% of their UAE-based company under the new policies.
