Aly & Fila to Perform at the Pyramids with Armin Van Buuren
Egyptian trance fans can not contain their excitement after DJ Armin Van Buuren announced on his Facebook that he’ll be performing at the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt.
It gets even better as Aly & Fila get ready to join Buuren for Future Sound of Egypt 500 (FSOE 500) on Friday, September 15th; performing in front of thousands of trance music lovers at one of the Seven Wonders of the World.
Last night, the Egyptian duo revealed the lineup for the legendary FSOE 500. It will include Ruben De Ronde, who will be flying all the way from the Netherlands, and Paul Thomas, hailing all the way from the UK. Oh, and of course, Buuren.
Egyptian fans are obviously not holding back, and are losing it!
This is not the first Future Sound of Egypt event to take place at the Pyramids. In 2015, Aly & Fila celebrated the 400th episode of their radio show right there.
Armin Van Buuren, as well, will also be returning to Egypt after his session with his favorite Egyptians in 2005 at Sharm El-Sheikh.
Believe it or not, Future Sound of Egypt isn’t the only event of its kind. Sandbox Festival has been one of the most anticipated events of this year, and every year for the last three years. British magazine Metro included Nacelle’s beach festival it in their “16 Global Beach Festivals You Have to Visit in 2017.”
These kind of events benefit Egypt in a way no one would ever expect. They put the country on the map for a completely different demographic, boosting Egypt’s tourism indirectly in the process.
