A Look Back at the Fairytale Wedding of Lara and Phillip On Their Third Anniversary
Today marks the third anniversary of the wedding of the Egyptian Singer and Song-writer Lara Scandar. Lara shared this carousel post on her Instagram with the simple caption ‘III’, to celebrate the anniversary. The beautiful pictures gave us wedding fever, and it reminded us of the absolutely magical fairytale that was her wedding to the Egyptian Jeweler Philippe Katchouni.
Lara chose ‘Garden of Eden’ as the theme of her wedding that took place at a Roman-inspired venue in Lebanon. When asked about the theme she stated that “I wanted something that symbolized purity and the most beautiful form of love. Eden was perfect and the first state of bliss ever created.”
As for the music of the wedding, Lara added “Most of the ceremony had songs from Disney as I’m a huge fan. Philippe walked in with an orchestral version of Cinderella’s A Dream Is A Wish’, the flower girls and page boys came to Pinocchio’s When You Wish Upon A Star and my entrance was to Mendelssohn’s Wedding March.”
