Saudi Arabia is bringing the world’s first Formula E experience to Abha, giving visitors a chance to get behind the wheel of electric karts at the new Formula E Karting attraction at SEVEN Abha. Located within Saudi Entertainment Ventures’ (SEVEN) latest destination, the experience marks the first of its kind in the Kingdom and brings electric racing-inspired fun to the Asir region.
A Track Built for Everyone
Spanning 428 meters, the indoor track features electric karts designed for both adults and children, as well as two-seater karts. This means visitors can choose a ride that fits their age and experience level, whether they’re looking for some friendly competition or want to enjoy the track.
The attraction was developed under an official Formula E license, bringing the atmosphere of the electric racing championship into an accessible indoor experience.
What to Expect
The interactive karting track combines speed, competition, and plenty of excitement, giving families and motorsport fans the chance to experience a taste of race-day energy. From battling it out on the track to enjoying the electric-karting setup, the experience is designed to make visitors feel part of the action.
Beyond the track, visitors can explore interactive displays showcasing Formula E’s history, from its drivers and teams to its latest technical innovations, while highlighting the environmental mission behind the sport and its role in advancing electric vehicle (EV) technology.
More Cities Are Coming
The Abha launch comes less than three months before electric racing returns to Saudi Arabia for the 2026/27 ABB FIA Formula E World Championship season opener on December 18 and 19.
SEVEN Abha is the first of four Saudi Arabian destinations set to introduce Formula E Karting. The experience will later expand to Riyadh, Dammam, and Al-Kharj through the partnership between SEVEN and Formula E.
The launch also supports the broader goals of Saudi Vision 2030 by expanding premium entertainment and sporting experiences beyond the Kingdom’s major cities. By bringing this global Formula E experience to Abha first, SEVEN and Formula E are putting the Asir region on the map for electric racing-inspired entertainment.
