Travel Updates: Residents and Tourists Will Soon Fly to The UAE via RAK International Airport

Starting October 15, Emiratis, UAE expats, and tourists will all be allowed to enter the United Arab Emirates through Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, without obtaining prior permission, the Department of Civil Aviation said.

Most importantly, passengers must undergo and later present a negative COVID-19 result before arriving. The test must not exceed a period of 96 hours. In line with the procedures implemented by the Ministry of Health and Prevention, in the unfortunate case of a positive result, passengers must be ready and willing to cover the cost of their quarantine period. In case you’re a tourist, make sure to obtain a tourist or international medical insurance.

Citizens and residents of the UAE will also be permitted to travel to any country, from Ras Al Khaimah International Airport, based on each country’s relevant travel and flight procedures.
