UAE Warns Its Citizens About the Niqab Ban in Switzerland

The UAE Mission in Geneva has been tweeting advice that starts with the hashtag “Dear Emirati traveler,” about the new niqab ban and also other advice related to travel safety, being a good image for the country and theft.

Switzerland has banned the niqab in a number of areas, and if this ban is not abided by an amount of up to 1000 Swiss franc will be fined, an equivalent to 3,768.80 AED.
