Since its launch in 2021, Forever Is Now has carved a reputation as one of the world’s most extraordinary art exhibitions—placing contemporary works by leading international artists in dialogue with the timeless backdrop of the Giza Pyramids. Over the years, the event has attracted global attention and star-studded visitors, cementing Egypt’s place on the international cultural calendar.
This November, the exhibition returns for its fifth edition, running from November 11 to December 6, 2025. Organized by Art D’Egypte, founded by Nadine Abdelghaffar, this year’s program promises another ambitious and artistic vision of contemporary art staged against the eternal desert landscape.

Global Icons and New Visitors
In past editions, Forever Is Now welcomed prominent guests including Pharrell Williams, Angela Bissoni, and Queen Sofia of Spain, furthering its reputation as a magnet for cultural icons. This year will be no exception: visitors announced so far include Recycle Group, Alexandre Farto (Vhils), and Michelangelo Bisoletto, with other major figures being kept under wraps until the opening.
At a press conference held on October 1, which was attended by notable figures including Egyptian actor Hussein Fahmy, renowned Egyptologist Zahi Hawass, and Dr. Ahmed Ghoneim, Director of the Grand Egyptian Museum, Amr Gazarin, Chairman of Orascom Development, expressed his excitement: “I am very pleased to be here today. This fifth edition of the event holds special significance for us, as it is the first to take place following the major transformation of the Pyramids. We have witnessed remarkable changes, and I invite everyone to visit the site and experience them firsthand.”

Meanwhile, Hussein Fahmy, president of the Cairo International Film Festival (CIFF), spoke on stage about an artistic cooperation between CIFF and Forever Is Now, noting the closeness of their timings. While details remain to be announced, the move signals an effort to align two of Egypt’s most visible cultural events within the same season.
Expanding Cairo’s Cultural Season
The season will also see Art D’Egypte expand its reach through additional projects. Nadine Abdel Ghaffar, Founder of Art D’Égypte, revealed two collateral exhibitions running in parallel with Forever Is Now. Chief among them is the Cairo International Art District (CIAD), which returns for its fifth edition from October 12 to November 16, 2025.
Spanning the Shorbagy Building and the historic Kodak Passage, CIAD will present five curated exhibitions featuring more than 70 local and international artists, transforming Downtown Cairo into a vibrant celebration of its architectural and artistic heritage.

The second collateral project, the Arts Décoratifs Exhibition, will debut at the Egyptian Museum in Tahrir, running from November 14 to 24, 2025. Marking its first edition, the exhibition will showcase the work of over fifteen Egyptian and international designers and artists, celebrating design and craftsmanship as essential threads in Egypt’s cultural fabric—within the halls of one of its most iconic institutions.
As Forever Is Now enters its fifth chapter, the exhibition continues to prove that the dialogue between Egypt’s ancient past and today’s global creative scene is inexhaustible. Each edition doesn’t just place art in front of the Pyramids—it redefines how the world engages with them, reminding us that history is not frozen in time, but constantly renewed through art, culture, and imagination.
