WWE Just Signed Their First Arab Woman Ever
It has officially been announced that World Wrestling Entertainment has just signed their first female from the Middle East.
Shadia Bseiso has been selected by the WWE to join the WWE Divas from the April tryouts held in Dubai this year.
The 30-year old Jordanian athlete is trained in Jiu Jitsu and CrossFit, and will join a roster of international talent from a variety of countries, including Australia, Brazil, Canada, China, Germany and much more.
In order for her to get to WWE’s Performance Center, Bseiso competed against 40 men and women to be noticed during tryouts earlier this year.
“Recruiting Shadia to join our developmental system underscores WWE’s ongoing commitment to building a talent roster as diverse as our fan base,” said Paul “Triple H” Levesque, WWE Executive Vice President.
