Sana Al Maktoum Fine Jewellery is not out for everyone! Her Highness Sheikha Sana Al Maktoum hosted her very first major event to display her new line exclusively by inviting local and international media representatives. Sana Al Maktoum Fine Jewellery aims to empower women across the region. Sana Al Maktoum gave an insight into the inspiration behind her first collection named ‘My Treasure’. She explained that her vision behind this beautiful collection isn’t just about jewelry and styling, it’s about women and strength.
This collection is a tribute to her Highness’ grandmother, who she’s named after, as well as a way to empower women to find their inner strength through one treasured piece of jewelry at a time.
Sana Al Maktoum’s main inspiration was her grandmother, leading to her creating butterflies as the main design of this collection. In an interview with Emirates Women, she mentioned that her grandmother is her ‘guardian butterfly’. She also added in the same interview, “A butterfly is ever-transforming, and as a jewellery designer, and as a woman, I feel I too am very much evolving”.
This is not just about jewellery, it’s about empowering women to create change through passion and strength.
