UAE University Establishes Its First ‘Air Farm’ To Boost Agriculture
Abu Dhabi University has debuted its first-ever ‘air farm’ in a bid to boost sustainable agriculture and provide food security. The farms are portable and take up less space than traditional farms.
The innovative technology farming solutions benefit the environment and the community by boosting crop yields by up to 30% and decreasing workers’ expenses by up to 80%, as well as reducing the need for supplies such as water and fertilizer.
The revolutionary project is part of the university’s partnership with South Korean smart agricultural tech company ‘Midbar’ and RBK Company.
