The 25-year-old human right activist, Benjamin Ladraa, started his walk from Sweden to Palestine. His aim is to shed light on the human rights violations that happen in the occupied territory. Raiding the Palestanian flag and spreading awareness about the cause everywhere he goes.
Ladraa started his journey last August and crossed Germany, Austria, Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bulgaria, Turkey, Lebanon and Jordan. On his way from Jordan to Palestine, he was stopped by Israeli authorities and taken into custody for 6 hours.
This was met with support from the Palestinian part. Mahmmoud Abbas, the Palestinian Leader said: “This step is taken to appreciate Laura’s efforts and his position to support the Palestinian people,” according to a report by the official Wafa news agency.
