Rumor Has It: Did Nelly Karim Just Get Engaged?

For the past few days, rumors have been circulating about Nelly Karim being involved with a man. The controversy was sparked after the actress posted an Instagram story of an anonymous gentleman holding her hand by the beach, without her revealing his identity, leaving everybody curious. Different tales were spread, including that she got married and has been spending her honeymoon at El Gouna. The award-winning actress decided to settle the controversy when she told ET BilArabi that she has tied the knot with Businessman Omar Islam, however, it was later reported that this was incorrect.
According to El Youm El Sabe’, the Instagram photo was taken right after the mini-engagement ceremony that took place on Monday, in one of the coastal beaches. The celebration party apparently included only eight attendees from both the bride and groom’s circle, abiding by the rules of social distancing and the prohibition of holding engagement parties.
The ‘B 100 Wesh’ leading lady wasn’t too shy to talk about the love story she’s been living with this mystery man, stating that the engagement was the result of genuine love and a huge understanding between the two love birds, expecting her wedding to take place next summer.
However, reports have been mixed and the actress has denied that any formal engagement took place. Looks like the rumor mill will keep spinning on this one!
The 45-year-old actress is known to have been married twice before and has 4 children; 2 sons and 2 daughters.
